The Greyhound: A New Era

Welcome to the inaugural edition of The Greyhound, Lincoln Park Academy's first student newspaper!

It is a momentous occasion for our school, as we take the first step in establishing a platform for students to share their voices, showcase their creativity, and exhibit their talents.

The road to this point has been long yet challenging, but because of the hard work and dedication of our editorial team, we are finally here. Our Editor in Chief, Daniella Fernandez, has led the initiative with a vision to create a newspaper that reflects the diversity and talent of LPA's student body. Our Layout Director, Nachbi Pierre, has brought his creative skills to the forefront, ensuring that the website is visually appealing and engaging.

In addition to our leaders, we have a team of Assistant Editors, Zamil Abid, Tyler Daniel, Annarose Hilhorst, and Peyton Mathison, who have contributed to every aspect of the publication process. Their efforts have helped to shape The Greyhound into what it is today and what it can be in the future.

We also have our category editors, Sara Cheney as the Community Editor and Sydney Daniel as Sports Editor, who have worked tirelessly to bring their sections to life, providing informative and engaging content to their respective categories.

Last but not least, we would like to thank and acknowledge the amazing sponsor, Mr. Stephen Windhaus, who supported the newspaper every step of the way, providing his feedback and helping us stay accountable for the news site to exist and thrive.

As we embark on this new journey, we recognize that there is still much work to be done. We look forward to expanding our coverage, introducing new elements, and continuing to keep the Lincoln Park Academy community informed and connected.
