The Middle School Student Council of Lincoln Park Academy (LPA) prepared for a special field trip to Graceway Village on February 25th.

Graceway Village is a community outreach program that provides donated food and clothing to underprivileged people, as well as a soup kitchen. The student council members were eager to participate in this volunteer opportunity, as it aligns with their mission to serve the community and make a positive impact.
The field trip was an exciting and educational experience for the middle school students, who learned the importance of giving back and helping those in need. They will work together to sort and distribute donations, help with meal preparation and service at the soup kitchen, and engage with members of the community who benefit from the services provided by Graceway Village.
The middle school student council at LPA is known for its commitment to community service, and the upcoming trip to Graceway Village is just one of the many ways they are working to make a difference. Through this experience, they not only gained a greater appreciation for the work done by community outreach programs, but also developed valuable leadership and team-building skills.
In addition, the field trip was a chance for the student council members to bond and build connections with their peers outside of the classroom setting. The shared experience of volunteering at Graceway Village created a sense of camaraderie among the students and fostered a sense of pride in their efforts to give back to the community.
Overall, the field trip to Graceway Village was an exciting opportunity for the middle school student council of LPA to make a meaningful impact and learn important life lessons about the value of service and helping others.
