Key Club Holds 2023 Election for New Officers

On February 15th, the LPA Key Club held it’s second meeting to elect officers. Eighteen students ran for office.

After listening to all of the candidate’s speeches, the 79 members who were in attendance at the meeting cast their votes. After the votes were cast, the results were announced. Faith Mobley will hold the position of Key Club President with Nachbi Pierre as Vice President, Megan Pinto as Secretary, and Jeno Retutal as Treasurer. All of the winners made very compelling speeches and have high levels of leadership experience. All are very excited to hold this position through May 2024.


Also in attendance at the meeting were the current sitting President and Vice President of Key Club, Madison Adkins and Annarose Hilhorst. The club sponsors; Mrs. Peterson, Ms. Montgomery, Mrs. and Mr. Windhaus also attended. VIP guests in attendance were Mr. Steve Hoskins of Hoskins, Turco, Lloyd & Lloyd and Mr. Troy Ingersoll, who is the Chair of the St. Lucie County School Board. Both are a part of the Ft. Pierce Sunrise Kiwanis.


The next meeting, where the new officers will be sworn in, will take place on Wednesday, March 22 in the cafeteria at 1:45PM. If you are interested in making a difference and committing yourself to help better the community, contact any of the club sponsors to join the LPA Key Club!
