The leaves are changing colors, the weather is getting colder, and stores are stocking fall decorations. It’s pumpkin spice season! This also means coffee shops, like Dunkin’ Donuts, start releasing their pumpkin spice items.
This year, Dunkin’ came out with a collaboration with the artist Ice Spice. There is now a specialty pumpkin spice drink. In the Ice Spice MUNCHKINS Drink is a traditional pumpkin spice latte or frozen coffee with a little twist: pumpkin spice MUNCHKINS, Dunkin’s donut holes, are blended into the drink!
When I heard of this combination, I knew I had to try it and review it for this month’s food review.
Starting off with presentation, out of all the drinks I have ordered from Dunkin’ in the past, the Ice Spice MUNKINS drink has a standard look. Just by appearance, it is a normal frozen coffee drink. 7/10
When it comes to the taste, wow. It is unlike anything I have ever tasted in my life. To be fair, it was the first time I ever had a pumpkin spice drink. However, it exceeded my standards. The pumpkin spice flavor was just the right amount of sweet and tasty. With the Munchkins blended in the drink, you could taste the pieces, and it for sure added to the overall flavor. 8.5/10
Overall, the drink was tastefully fulfilling. I would definitely recommend for anyone to try the drink if they haven’t yet. It might not be my go-to order, but it is for sure worth the hype.
